GSM26 Series OEM SMT Splice Tape Easy Alignment for Fuji

GSM26 series splice tapes are designed specifically for Fuji machines with an intelligent feeder. Thesilver strip will allow the sensor to detect the splice. Each size has placement holes to use with the alignment jigs.

Instructions for Using GSM26 Series Splice Tapes

1. Use the Cutting Tool to Accurately Cut the Carrier Tapes: Begin by using a cutting tool to accurately cut the carrier tapes. Ensure that the cuts are clean and precise, as this will impact the quality of the splice.

2. Remove the Release Liner of the Splice Tape: Next, remove the release liner from the splice tape to reveal the adhesive side. This adhesive side will be used to join the cut carrier tapes.

3. Align the Cut Carrier Tapes with the Placement Holes: Align the cut carrier tapes (with the cover tape facing down) with the placement holes on the splice tape. The placement holes are designed to ensure precise alignment, simplifying the splicing process.

4. Place Both Joining Carrier Tapes onto the First Strip of the Splice Tape: Carefully place both joining carrier tapes onto the first strip of the splice tape. Ensure that the tapes are aligned correctly and that the adhesive side of the splice tape makes contact with the carrier tapes.

5. Fold Over the Second Strip to the Underside of the Carrier Tape: Fold over the second strip of the splice tape to the underside of the carrier tape. Press firmly to ensure that the adhesive makes a strong bond with the carrier tapes.

6. Remove and Discard the Clear Plastic Cover: Finally, remove and discard the clear plastic cover from the splice tape to complete the splice. The splice is now ready for use in the SMT production process.
