GSM06A Series Acrylic Adhesive SMT Single Splice Tape
GSM06A Series single splice tape is specifically designed for jointing carrier tapes in SMT assembly processes. This high-performance adhesive tape features superior adhesion properties and is compatible with Siemens and Fuji SMT equipment.
Applications and Specifications
  • Single strips of PET tape on rolls for joining SMT carrier tapes
  • Enhanced connection strength when used with splice tools and clips, particularly for larger carrier tapes
  • Available in widths from 32mm to 88mm upon request
  • OEM/EDM customization options available
Step-by-Step Usage Instructions
  1. Cut Carrier Tapes: Use precision splice cutting tools (GSMTL20/GSMTL30/GSMTL40) for accurate tape cutting
  2. Position Splice Clip: Place splice clip (teeth up) on the splice tool's placement pins
  3. Center Carrier Tapes: Align both carrier tapes (cover tape up) on pins and secure with clamps
  4. Crimp Connection: Crimp the splice tool handle to connect carrier tapes securely
  5. Remove Release Liner: Expose adhesive side by removing the release liner
  6. Apply Tape Strip: Press single strip of splice tape firmly onto cover tape to complete the bond
